Artist: Chris Smallfield

Another person I wanted to talk about this week is Chris Smallfield. We went high school together forever ago (we actually both went to SCAD as well but at different times) and recently I had the chance to kick it with him in Berlin(with Mr. Fantastic Ford).

Anyway, Chris is a totally talented animator. He's worked on a ton of different projects and to showcase all of his work he recently lauched a vimeo channel called SpaceTV. Good stuff. From SpaceTV:

[SpaceTV is] A collection of commercials that I've worked on over the years, as a 3D Generalist, Lead 3D Artist, On-set sup, Supreme Commander of Awesomeness and/or many other exciting arbitrary titles!

When we were in Berlin, Chris was working on some Spongebob Squrepants stuff (international...oh yea, Spongebob is worldwide). Here's two pieces off his site...check em' out here and then move the channel to figure out what hand Chris had in making these...and many others...
